Jumper is a representative of one of the most extensive families in the Citroen production range. First of all, it is a car designed for the carriage of goods, but what is especially pleasant and important, the Jumper is not an easy means of transportation, but a comfortable, modern and comfortable car. His debut took place in 1994.

They made significant changes in the appearance of the body: new light fixtures (modern block headlights with transparent lenses and double deflectors, integrated fog lights) and the original false radiator grille gave the car a dynamic and expressive look.

The interior is also freshened up. Installed comfortable in shape, reduced the diameter of the steering wheel. The cabin has a new dashboard: ergonomic, made of high-quality materials.

Much attention is paid to the creators of driver comfort. Inside, the interior is more like a passenger car than a delivery van. Soft contours of the instrument panel, high-quality plastic, "plump" steering wheel rim and gearshift lever in the form of a "joystick" - all this is associated with pretty passenger pick-ups, comfortable, high-speed, economical.

On the panel, right in the center, there is an original shelf-tablet with a clip for papers. The shelf can be fixed vertically, so it is more convenient to watch without distracting from the road. There is also a huge number of "glove compartments" and other places for storing small and large things: special door pockets, a traditional glove box, a shelf on the panel, etc. In different versions, by the way, the number and volume of storage compartments is different. In the passenger version, "pockets" on the doors have a larger volume and differ in shape and decoration materials.

The wide door opening facilitates embarkation / disembarkation.

The line of power units is represented by three turbodiesel engines of the HDI series with a volume of 2 l / 86 hp, 2.2 l / 100 hp. and 2.8 l / 127 hp All three units have intermediate cooling of the air supplied to the cylinders and are equipped with the Common Rail direct injection system. For the European market, there is also a petrol unit of 2.0 l / 110 hp.

The family of front-wheel drive vans Jumper consists of a huge number of modifications: you can choose the engine, the height of the roof, the length of the wheelbase and even the type of transmission. The total number of modifications Citroen Jumper, declared by the manufacturer, consists of 80 modifications. Jumper vans are labeled "29", "33" and "35", which corresponds to their total weight - from 2.9 to 3.5 tons. Available in low, medium and high roof vans, as well as with four wheelbase options: 2850, 3200, 3700 and 4050 mm. You can also vary the total length of the car in the range from 4079 to 5599 mm and even the height of the rear door. By the way, the rear doors swing open 270 degrees. The capacity of the cargo compartment varies from 7.5 to 22 m.

There are also "intermediate" cargo-passenger versions with additional removable seats for 3-9 people, flatbed trucks with all-metal platform, a short triple or double cabin for 6-7 seats.

The cargo minibus Jumper is offered in two types - with a glazed and unglazed cargo compartment. The Combi Comfort model differs from these two types by the possibility of mounting additional seats for passengers. In addition to minibuses, the customer is offered three types of Citroen Jumper truck, which differ depending on the type of body.

Standard equipment includes: anti-lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution system EBD, which is only “getting accustomed” to passenger models. Under the order, all for the same European market, Citroën launches the Jumper with all-wheel drive transmission.

Jumper is equipped with numerous safety devices for the driver, passengers and pedestrians, some of them cannot be found on any other car of this class. The driver's seat and 2-seater passenger seat are equipped with seat belts with pyrotechnic pretensioners. The improved body structure has reinforced anti-impact zones. The Parking Assist System signals an obstacle approaching when reversing.

Additional equipment includes ABS, heated driver's seat, air conditioning and a dismountable cargo compartment with a window, a double 140 liter airbag for the front passenger, a right sliding door with glass, an electronic control system for side mirrors and much more.

Serially installed: immobilizer, power windows and heated mirrors.

In general, the design Citroen Jumper is not much different from the one, the first modification, released in 1994. It is still a front wheel drive van with independent lever-spring front suspension, front disc brakes and frame structure.
