In terms of dimensions, Sentra is one of the leaders in its class: the length of the body is 4625 mm, the length of the wheelbase is 2700 mm, the width is 1760 mm and the height is 1495 mm. The car is built on a stretched Nissan platform V, the one that underlies the Micra, Pulsar, Note and second-generation Tiida hatchback models. Adaptation of the model for regional conditions involved an international team. Sentra passed the full cycle of tests on Russian roads, after which the engineers made a number of changes to the design of the car. For example, reinforced floor panels and suspension, retuned in the direction of greater energy intensity shock absorbers, increased ground clearance (up to 155 mm) and a battery of larger capacity. Also, engineers have improved the cooling of the variator, and in the cabin installed other front seats.
Salon Nissan Sentra is designed for 5 seats and boasts an impressive amount of free space both on the front row and in the back, and even passengers with a height of 180 cm can accommodate at the back with sufficient comfort. The interior is quite simple, but ergonomic and of high quality. Selected good finishing materials, sustained high build quality. The instrument cluster is classic, with four dials.

For the Russian Sentra, only one engine is available - the atmospheric 1.6 HR series, which appeared in the Nissan range in 2010. In the Russian market, the Nissan Sentra model is available in four versions: Welcome, Comfort, Elegance and Tekna). The Elegance package can be supplemented with one of three option packages to choose from (Plus, Connect, Plus Connect).
Already "in the base" the car is equipped with a Stability System (ESP), two airbags, front and rear electric windows, an on-board computer, air conditioning, heated front seats, a multifunction steering wheel and four audio speakers, 16 ″ steel rims with decorative caps and tires 205 / 55R16, rear-view mirrors are equipped with electric and heated.
The Comfort package is additionally equipped with a CD / MP3 audio system (4 speakers, AUX digital input, USB and Bluetooth wireless technology).
In the "Elegance" configuration, the audio system already has 6 speakers and in addition: 16 ″ alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, side airbags, an armrest for passengers of the second row of seats and pockets in the backs of the front seats. Additional option packages for the Elegance package bundle: Plus (rain and light sensors, auto-dimming rear-view salon mirror, keyless access and engine start systems with a button, and electric folding mirrors). Connect (NissanConnect navigation system with a 5.8 ″ color LCD touchscreen and rear view camera). "Plus Connect" - combines the above packages.
In the maximum configuration "Tekna" Nissan Sentra will be able to boast (in addition to all of the above): Xenon headlights and DRL LEDs, cruise control, leather trim and 17 ″ wheels.
Suspension: McPherson struts in the front, an elastic beam in the back. Engineers concern Nissan supplied the wheels of the front axle of the sedan with ventilated disc brakes, and behind the use of simple disc brakes. The rack and pinion steering mechanism of the vehicle is completed with an electric booster.
Production models started at the factory in Izhevsk. The warranty on the sedan in Russia is three years or 100 thousand km. Service interval is 15 thousand km.
