Fiat ducato

Fiat Ducato is a large minibus developed by the Italian company Fiat.

This minibus was also produced under the brands Citroen (Citroen Jumper) and Peugeot (Peugeot Boxer). The first generation Fiat Ducato was introduced in 1981. The car would be produced at the factory "Sevel Sud" in Italy. The most similar cars at the time: Alfa Romeo AR6, Peugeot J5, Citroën C25 and Talbot Express. The Fiat Ducato model included several variants, named according to their load-carrying characteristics: Ducato 10 (1.0 t), Ducato 13 (1.3 t), Ducato 14 (1.4 t) and Ducato Maxi 18 (1.8 t).

For the first generation Fiat Ducato, six engine options were proposed: three petrol and three diesel powertrains. The list of gasoline engines included: 4-cylinder engines, one of which was a volume of 1.8 liters, whose power was 68 hp and two engines of 2 liters capacity of 74 hp. and 83 hp. And diesel power units were as follows: a volume of 1.9 liters and a capacity of 69 hp; 2.5-liter capacity of 72 hp; 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine with 94 hp. capacity

In 1993, a new generation of Fiat Ducato was developed for the 1994 model year.

2019 Fiat Ducato

The car had a completely redesigned appearance, which has lost its former angularity of the body. In 1998, in the list of engines appears diesel power unit from Iveco company with a volume of 2.8 liters, as well as its turbo version.

Also by 1999, various specialized modifications of the minibus were developed under the names: Ducato Goods Transport (for the transport of goods), Ducato Passenger Transport (passenger) and Ducato Combi (passenger-cargo version).

The following engines were offered for Fiat Ducato Goods Transport: a 2.0-liter gasoline engine (99 hp), a 2.0-liter JTD turbo diesel with a capacity of 99 hp. (was proposed in 1999), a 2.3-liter JTD 16-valve turbodiesel with a volume of 2.3 liters (108 hp) and a 2.8 liter JTD turbo-diesel power unit. It was also proposed two options for the transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed "automatic".

As for the passenger model - Fiat Ducato Passenger Transport, it could accommodate from six to nine passengers and was offered with a 16-valve turbocharged diesel power unit JTD of 2.3 liters and 110 hp.

The universal Ducato Combi model could be successfully used both for the transportation of passengers (up to nine people) and for the transportation of goods. The car also had versions with different payloads, but already only three Ducato 10 (1 ton), Ducato 14 (1.4 t) and Ducato Maxi 18 (1.8 t).

In 2003, the Fiat Ducato undergoes another external change. This year, a 2.5-liter diesel power unit is eliminated from the list of engines, and the vehicle’s payload is significantly increasing. Fiat Ducato now receives the following versions: Ducato 29 (2.9 tonnes), Ducato 30 (3.0 tonnes), Ducato 33 (3.3 tonnes) and Ducato Maxi 35 (3.5 tonnes).

In 2006, the third generation Fiat Ducato was introduced, which is currently being produced. The car is also available in various trim levels, both passenger and freight. The load capacity options are as follows: Ducato 30 (3 tons), Ducato 33 (3.3 tons), Ducato Maxi 35 (3.5 tons) and Ducato Maxi 40 (4 tons). The list of engines now offers only diesel power units, namely: 2.2 Multijet 99 hp; 2.3 Multijet 118 hp and 128 hp; 3.0 Multijet Power 155 hp
