In Russia, the FAW V2 compact city hatchback was first introduced at the Moscow International Motor Show (MMAC) in 2012. 

The front part of the body is formed by the characteristic ribs of the sloping bonnet, which turn into a large bumper vyshtampovki with an additional air intake and fog. Headlights with sharp edges are located on the ledges roundness of the wheel arches, stylishly turning into the side surfaces of the body. The profile is characterized by a noticeable ascending subwindow line, horizontal stamping (at the level of door handles), visually dividing the body into two parts, as well as extended wheel arches. The rear part is solved in the traditional key of the main mass of compact two-locomotives: the tailgate, a simple bumper with fog lights, vertical rear lights with LEDs and a spoiler above the rear door glass. The car is equipped with tires 175 / 65R14 on iron or alloy wheels. Vehicle dimensions: length - 3760 mm, width - 1680 mm, height - 1530 mm, wheelbase - 2450 mm. Clearance of the car of 143 mm. With such modest parameters, the FAW V2 has a relatively spacious cabin and a luggage compartment volume of 320 liters.

The interior of the FAW V2 is distinguished by well-thought-out ergonomics and conciseness. The center console is made of silver plastic. It has two round deflectors of the heating system, a red alarm button, as well as a music installation unit. The dashboard looks modern - the devices are recessed into the well and decorated with edging. The budget materials used in the interior trim have passed all the necessary certification and are fully compliant with fire safety requirements and are absolutely harmless to the environment. From practical elements, it is worth highlighting a recess in the front panel for small things, door pockets and cup holders on the central tunnel. Rear seats can be folded, while significantly increasing the amount of luggage. In addition, the car has excellent sound insulation. 

In the Russian market, the FAW V2 hatchback is available in two trim levels - Comfortable and Deluxe. In the initial version there are front and rear fog lights, LED side lights, air conditioning, remote central locking, power steering, four electric windows, power mirrors with turn signal, radio (radio, MP3, two speakers), ABS ABS with ABS and ABS Stability ESP. The Deluxe version has front airbags for the driver and front passenger, seat belts with front tensioners, alloy wheels and an audio system with a CD player with a USB input. 

The car is equipped with a 1.3-liter petrol power unit VCT-I, with a capacity of 91 hp. A torque of 120 nm is realized at 4400 rpm. This engine has high fuel efficiency and is characterized by low CO2 emissions. The power unit works in combination with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The maximum speed is 166 km / h. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.67 liters. 

FAW V2 has an advanced, for a small car, multi-link rear suspension, in front of the traditional MacPherson strut. Front disc brakes, rear drum.
