The Suzuki Reno is a compact family car in a 5-door hatchback body, which was first introduced by the Japanese car company Suzuki at the end of 2004. This model was produced only for the North American market and was, in essence, a copy of Korean-made Daewoo Lacetti with Suzuki nameplates. The car Suzuki Reno replaced the model Daewoo Nubira. The design of the car worked studio Ital Design, which performed it in the European style, which is an important plus in the American market. The wheelbase of the Suzuki Reno is 2,600 mm, length - 4,295 mm, width - 1,725 mm, and height - 1,445 mm.

For the Suzuki Reno car, only one engine variant is offered - a two-liter four-cylinder 16-valve power unit with a capacity of 126 hp. As for the transmission, the manufacturer offers a choice of 5-speed manual gearbox or 4-speed automatic transmission.

The front suspension of the Suzuki Reno has a design like "MacPherson", and the rear is an independent two-lever and equipped with a jet lever, which provides a change in the angle of convergence of the wheels. This combination allows the car to gently and comfortably move along the roads, even with not very high-quality coating. The braking system includes disc front and rear brake mechanisms, as well as Bosch's anti-lock ABS and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).

The basic equipment Suzuki Reno includes electric power steering with variable effort, air conditioning, front and side airbags, multimedia audio system with steering wheel controls, electrically adjustable mirrors, folding in the ratio of 60:40 back seat.
