According to the manufacturer, engineers worked on acoustic comfort very carefully. In particular, a sound-absorbing foam material has been applied to 22 areas of the body, effectively insulating the cabin from road noise. The car is designed for six people. In the cabin they placed three rows of seats, and there was enough space for everyone, even the passengers of the gallery, which was achieved thanks to a record wheelbase of 2875 mm.

The Japanese paid special attention to ergonomics of the driver's seat. The chair can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction and height. An electrically adjustable lumbar cushion and a memory system of three positions are present. The 6-speed automatic lever is located quite high, which makes it easy to control the box in any mode. Audio and cruise control controls are on the steering wheel. The front panel is made underlined strict. Devices with black dials, illuminated by diffused light, bordered with silver frames. There are no fundamental changes in the architecture and design of the Mazda CX-9. The maximum speed of this modification of the Mazda CX-9 is 192 kilometers per hour. Fuel consumption on the highway is 9 liters, and in the city - 15.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
