So there is plenty of head space in Getz. Rear seat passengers can individually adjust the inclination of their backrest. However, the third headrest clearly indicates that the car is five-seater. If necessary, the second row of seats folded.
The cabin also has a lot of nice little things that make the trip more comfortable. For example, a case for sunglasses is located above the driver’s door. A deep glove box, a shelf under the steering column, pockets in the front doors and the backs of the front seats will accommodate a lot of useful things, which at the same time is very convenient and practical.
Under the floor of the luggage compartment is a tray with compartments for tools and other associated fines. The trunk is quite small. Additional volume of the trunk give folding in a ratio of 40:60 rear seats - of course, to the detriment of the rear passengers. Increase the luggage compartment can be up to 977 liters.
The design of the center console is dominated by rectangular and round shapes. Instruments in a silvery plastic edging with a pleasant green color are perfectly readable. The center console is deployed in the direction of the driver. The steering wheel and the original gearbox lever are borrowed from the Hyundai Coupe. The steering wheel is quite comfortable, although it does not have height and depth adjustments.
Getz has good visibility. A wide panoramic windshield provides decent visibility in all directions. Back can be seen a little worse. The glass of the fifth door is narrow, and part of the space is “eaten up” by massive rear pillars and rear headrests.
The weakest of the power units Getz has a volume of 1.1 liters. This engine is no different dynamics. For those who like to ride with the wind, units of 1.3 l / 82 hp are offered. and 1.6 l / 105 hp As an alternative to the "mechanics" stands 4-speed automatic transmission - an indispensable thing in traffic jams.
The suspension has a good combination of handling and smoothness. Turns almost any slope car overcomes smoothly and confidently. Brakes work very well.
Safety and comfort of the driver were the main concern of the designers when creating Hyundai Getz. As standard, the car is equipped with multi-phase airbags. Blow such pillows softer. A deformable steering column and three-point seat belts with a pretensioner will add extra confidence. And steel beams built into the doors will protect against side collisions.

Summarizing, we can say that with the release of Getz, Hyundai has come close to its European classmates in terms of quality of assembly and handling characteristics. This compact city car harmoniously combines the most diverse qualities that meet the tastes and preferences of European buyers, but most importantly its quality is an affordable price that has been preserved, plus a bonus in the form of a five-year warranty.
